ORENUGA CHARGED STAFF AND STUDENTS TO LOVE GOD
The Provost Lagos State College of Nursing Igando, Mrs Oyefunso Orenuga has admonished members of Staff and Students in the College to fear God and love Him in truth and in spirit as Christ is love thereby doing the right thing at all times in the sight of God and in the sight of man in order to achieve the best positively this year.
This she said during the New Year Prayers and thanksgiving season held in the College recently to begin 2023
Orenuga acknowledged that it is good to love God but actions and characters should reflect Christ and Muhammed like as one of the commandments of the Holy books. She said many claimed to serve God but still engage and exhibit an inappropriate behavior in the discharge of their official duties in the College as their actions are mischievous which is barbaric to human understanding
Orenuga explained that God is love and such should be demonstrated in everyone at every point in time and not to be involved in negative attitude towards the discharge of their official duties. She encouraged everyone to put in more effort this year and be more focused on the purpose of their being in the College and shun a lackadaisical attitude but to embrace the spirit of hard work and be open-minded always
The prayer sessions showcased different prayer presentation rendered to both Staff, Students, College and Lagos State as a whole for a better and more successful and productive year. As the year shall usher pleasant and beautiful experiences
The Provost also presented awards to outstanding Staff and Students who had performed meritoriously in the discharged of their duties in year 2022.
